Florida Keith Yandle Panthers

Keith Yandle appeared on the ice near the end of the Florida Panthers final practice before they open their begin their 2021 season and jumped onto a new-look power play unit.

In the words of Larry David: Things looked pretty, pretty good.

After practice, coach Joel Quenneville did not rule out playing Yandle in the season opener against the Blackhawks on Sunday (7 p.m., FSF).

It has been well documented that Yandle’s NHL Iron Man streak of 866 consecutive games could very likely end Sunday night as he did not appear to be in Florida’s immediate plans.
