It has been a muddled start to the season for Panthers goalie Sergei Bobrovsky but things pick up Tuesday as Florida pays a visit to the Blue Jackets.

Bobrovsky missed the start of training camp apparently because of the NHL’s COVID-19 protocols, but after less than a week of practice, he got his first start against the Chicago Blackhawks.

Then, more time off.

Bobrovsky said Monday he has tried to use the extra practice time granted when the Carolina Hurricanes had to postpone their two-game series against the Panthers to his benefit.

“You work on some things. Instead of games, there is time for practice and you can work on your skills, get better in certain elements in your game,” Bobrovsky said.
