The Florida Panthers were in a good mood Friday after beating the Tampa Bay Lightning in one of the most exciting games in franchise history the night before. But Saturday is Game 4 of this best-of-7 series and everything is new again.

Florida must bring the desperation it showed at the start — and end — of Thursday night’s 6-5 overtime win in Game 3.

Yes, the Panthers could not afford to go down 0-3 in the series and played like it was a must-win game.

But to come home down 3-1 isn’t much better. The Panthers have a big hill to climb against the defending champions and that isn’t going to change as long as this series continues.

The Panthers, certainly, would like to keep this trend of road teams winning going.
