The Florida Panthers were in a good mood Friday after beating the Tampa Bay Lightning in one of the most exciting games in franchise history the night before. But Saturday is Game 4 of this best-of-7 series and everything is new again.

Florida must bring the desperation it showed at the start — and end — of Thursday night’s 6-5 overtime win in Game 3.

Yes, the Panthers could not afford to go down 0-3 in the series and played like it was a must-win game.

But to come home down 3-1 isn’t much better. The Panthers have a big hill to climb against the defending champions and that isn’t going to change as long as this series continues.
