FHN Today: TNT releases its NHL coverage team
The NHL will not only be on ESPN during the coming season, but Turner Sports is getting into the mix as well with games on TNT.
On Tuesday, TNT released its complete list of announcers, commentators and contributors for the 2021-22 season.
In the studio, TNT will have Wayne Gretzky, Anson Carter, Rick Tocchet and Paul Bissonnette along with former NHL on NBC host Liam McHugh.
On the game side, Brendan Burke and Darren Pang have been added one team along with the previous announced team of Kenny Albert and Eddie Olczyk.
Keith Jones will provide ice-level analysis.
Jennifer Botterill, Tarik El-Bashir and Jackie Redmond will be contributors.
Turner Sports begins its NHL coverage on Wednesday, Oct. 13, with a doubleheader. The New York Rangers will visit the Washington Capitals in the opener with Chicago visiting Colorado in the nightcap.

Spencer Knight has a place in Fort Lauderdale and we all expect him to be one of the two goalies the Panthers carry into the 2021-22 season.

The Ottawa Senators have reportedly offered Brady Tkachuk an eight-year contract worth $64 million. In 2019, the Sens gave that contract to Thomas Chabot. (Ottawa Sun)
