Back in Time: Adidas drops more Florida Panthers ‘Reverse Retro’ hints
OK, well at least we know what color the new Florida Panthers ‘Retro Reverse’ jersey will be.
On Sunday morning, Adidas continued dropping hints with close up looks at what the Atlantic Division teams will be wearing when the ‘Reverse Retro’ jerseys drop.
By the photos shared online, we see the Panthers will have a dark blue jersey for the first time since they went back to red in 2011-12.
Florida’s original jersey colors were white at home, red on the road with a third jersey coming out in dark blue.

Looking at the photos released Sunday, Adidas is mixing the Panthers’ current color scheme with a throwback look.
I have been told to expect a leaping Panther on the front of the jersey. The shoulder patch shows the original palm tree and hockey stick alternate logo.
The design is a throwback to 1996 when the Panthers went to the Stanley Cup Finals in just their third season of existence.
The team did not have blue jerseys then nor did they have the ‘leaping cat with the broken stick’ logo. So, expect the original logo on the front of this one.
Word is the hinting will stop soon enough; Adidas is expected to release all the jerseys this month — just in time for the holiday sales crush!
