A day after Adidas gave us what turned out to be final hints to what the Florida Panthers new ‘Reverse Retro’ jerseys would look like, it has been officially released.
The new sweater mixes new and old from Florida Panthers history. The jersey is a nod to the team’s original look from the leaping panther logo to the stripes on the sleeve.
As was hinted yesterday, the jersey is predominately blue in color with white at the edge of the sleeves as well as at the bottom.
The team’s new gold color is instituted as well as the team’s more recent shade of red.
The blue jersey harkens back to the team’s original third jerseys which came not long after the moved to their new arena in Sunrise in 1998.
So, what do you think?

I dig the new look, think the new shade of gold really pops off the blue and red.
The white is a little different, but I think it looks pretty good.
According to the team, the new sweater will be available on Dec. 1 and they are taking pre-orders now.

They should have stayed true to the colors. I see they wanted a mix of the old and new but that gold trim should have stayed yellow.
Don’t like the white stripes. Switch with the gold would have been better
I think they may have added the white to break up the colors for the full uniform…assume they’re keeping their normal blue pants.
Wanted to see the broken hockey stick in the Panther paws. Other wise I like it
Is this the Jersey that gets them to the playoffs?
I’m not convinced with the white but I like the original striping. Looking forward to see them on the ice
