Mailbag time! Your Florida Panthers questions – answered

It has been over a month since I opened up the mailbag to answer questions about the Florida Panthers from you, our loyal readers.

First off, I would just like to thank all of you who have subscribed to our new venture here at FloridaHockeyNow.com.

In just a little over two months, the site has grown bigger than I thought it would.

I knew it was going to take some time to build this into something I could make a living at and continue to offer in-depth coverage of the Florida Panthers on a daily basis.

I am not getting rich off this by any means, but this site is growing and I owe all of you for that.

So, thanks again.

This is the offseason for the Panthers but a lot has happened since our last mailbag.

First, the Panthers were knocked out of the Toronto bubble by the Islanders. Then, Dale Tallon was let go. A few weeks later, Bill Zito was hired to replace him.

We’ve got full draft coverage coming in the next few weeks as well as plenty of free agency talk as Zito tries to build this team into a legitimate contender.

There will be plenty of news to come — and I am very thankful you all allow me to cover it for you.
