Did you know the Florida Panthers have retired one number in their history?

If you are on this site, of course you did.

But did you know, three players in franchise history have worn the No. 1?

You probably knew that as well.

Anyway, one of those guys — Kevin Weekes — joins the latest edition of the Panthers Pressbox Podcast to talk a little bit about two teams he knows well: The Panthers and Islanders.

This episode (No. 4 if you are keeping track) serves as the unofficial Florida Panthers-New York Islanders preview show.

Not only does Weekes join us (the former NHL goalie is also an analyst on NHL Network), but so does Josh Luecht from pantherparkway.com and Andrew Gross of Newsday.

We talk all things Panthers/Islanders on this episode and, as always, I hope y’all enjoy it.

And, if you missed Episode 3, well, you missed a lot.

The beauty part of podcasts is you can listen whenever you want. So check that one out as well.

By the way, the other two Florida Panthers aside from Weekes to wear No. 1 were Roberto Luongo (who?) and Kirk McLean.
