The Florida Panthers will wanted to keep things as is today against the Chicago Blackhawks in a nationally televised game.

But there is a problem.

Mackie Samoskevich apparently came down with something and cannot go today; Evan Rodrigues will move into his slot with Jonah Gadjovich getting back in.

The Blackhawks, which are 1-1 on this road trip with a win in Tampa and a close loss to the Hurricanes, will make some changes.

After getting the night off Thursday, old pal Pat Maroon returns to the lineup.

Defenseman Connor Murphy, the son of old pal Gord, is back after missing the past 13 games with a groin injury he sustained in the Winter Classic at Wrigley Field.

Florida also does not have Adam Boqvist around to scratch today. After being placed on waivers Thursday, Boqvist was claimed Friday by the New York Islanders.
