The Florida Panthers and Boston Bruins renew their heated rivalry on a Saturday afternoon special in Sunrise.

The Panthers, coming off a split Rocky Mountain roadie, practiced without Aaron Ekblad on Friday morning in Fort Lauderdale.

Coach Paul Maurice said Ekblad would be a game-time decision for today.

Since neither the Panthers nor Bruins will hold a morning skate today with the early kickoff, we should know whether Ekblad plays when the team comes onto the ice for warmups around 12:30.

Maurice did say Saturday morning that Ekblad was likely out.

  • Starting Goalies: Florida will go with Sergei Bobrovsky today for his fourth start in the past five games. Spencer Knight could start Monday in Philadelphia. Jeremy Swayman is expected to go for the Bruins.
  • How to Watch: Today’s game is being broadcast nationally on ABC. That means no local broadcast nor stream on Panthers+. The game will be streamed on ESPN+. There is no blackout of this broadcast anywhere.
  • NHL Betting Odds: The Panthers are favorites (-180) on the money line at the local book. To win with the Panthers, a $180 bet pays $100.
