Prediction Time! The ‘Hockey Now’ writers make their NHL picks. Who you got?

The NHL postseason — can we agree on calling it that, at least? — kicks off today with five games including one which will be of much interest in South Florida.

Here at FloridaHockeyNow.com, we thought it would be fun to jump into the prediction game.

I am not very good at it, traditionally, but whatever.

As the NHL’s second season begins, the National Hockey Now family of writers got together to (we think) accurately pick the winners of each of the eight qualifying series as well as the seedings for the top teams in each conference.

What do you say?

Make your predictions in the comment section (including how you think the top eight teams will be seeded come the round-robin tournament) and the reader with the most correct picks will get a free subscription to this site.

The contest will only factor in the qualifing series and I will use the seeds as a tie-breaker just in case. You don’t have to say how many games the series will go, but I know most of you will.
